For over a dozen years, I have photographed the events, parties, parades and preparations for Rio de Janairo’s Carnaval. Most years I take a few days to visit Carnaval activities in other Brazilian cities. I captured this photo in Salvador. It had a completely different flavor and style than the Carnaval events in Rio
